Two representatives of Astana Medical University, one of the leading medical university in Kazakhstan, visited Istanbul Medipol Mega Hospital and the International School of Medicine. Prof. Dr. Makishev Abay Kairgozhinovich, Head of the Oncology Department, and Marat Mauletbaev, Assistant of the Head of the Oncology Department, participated in the visit.
The International School of Medicine was represented by Prof. Dr. Ayhan TAŞTEKİN, the Dean; Prof. Dr. Zübeyir BAYRAKTAROĞLU, a Vice-Dean; and Prof. Dr. Bayram Ufuk ŞAKUL from the Anatomy Department. The institutions have an existing Memorandum of Understanding, and during the visit, discussions focused on student internship, academic staff exchange, and student exchange programs as well as potential future collaborations.
