İstanbul Medipol University student Hajira Karim was selected as the only medical student from Türkiye for the Swiss Oncology Summer Program, which brings together 25 medical students from around the world.
İstanbul Medipol University student Hajira Karim has achieved significant international recognition by being selected for the Swiss Oncology Summer Program. A student at the International School of Medicine who is also pursuing a double major in Health Management, Karim is the only medical student from Türkiye selected to participate in the program alongside medical students from around the world.
Supported by ETH Zurich, one of the world’s top 10 universities and one of Europe’s top three, the program provides participants with an extensive academic experience in oncology and cancer research.
HANDS-ON EXPERIENCE IN ONCOLOGY AND CANCER RESEARCH
During the program, Karim will engage with leading oncologists, cancer researchers, clinicians, and academics. She will gain hands-on academic experience in clinical oncology, translational research, and laboratory-based cancer research.
Representing both Türkiye and İstanbul Medipol University on an international platform, Karim’s participation in the Swiss Oncology Summer Program marks a significant academic achievement.
