We were honored to welcome a delegation from Kameda Medical Centre (Japan), ranked 58th among the World’s Best Hospitals by Newsweek magazine in 2025. The delegation was led by Dr. Toshiaki Kameda, the President of Kameda Medical Centre.
The visit marked the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between Kameda Medical Centre and Istanbul Medipol University. The ceremony was headed by our Rector, along with representatives from the School of Medicine International and the International Office.
Key areas of collaboration discussed during the visit included:
· Student Exchange Programs – Opportunities for bilateral academic and cultural exchange between medical students;
· Resident Training Programs – Enabling residents to complete part of their residency year at Medipol Mega University Hospital, gaining clinical experience in a diverse healthcare environment;
· Research Collaboration – Exploring joint research projects and academic cooperation across medical disciplines.
This partnership aims to strengthen international academic ties and enhance global medical education and research.
