On February 11, 2025, Tambov State Technical University (TSTU), in collaboration with the Public Chamber of the Russian Federation and the Russian Society "Knowledge, " hosted an open discussion titled "Women in Science, Education, and Business: Projects and Solutions for the BRICS Economy". The event, held in honor of the International Day of Women and Girls in Science, brought together over 100 participants from seven countries, including Russia, China, Algeria, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, and Turkey, as well as representatives from more than 20 cities across Russia.
Assoc. Prof. Irina Shelenkova, Executive for International Relations at Istanbul Medipol University, delivered a presentation on the self-realization of women in science, education, and international academic cooperation. The discussion concluded with a call to enhance international collaboration, support women's leadership, and challenge gender stereotypes in science, education, and business. Participants expressed their commitment to continued cooperation and the implementation of joint projects in these fields.
