On September 7, 2024, a distinguished delegation from Universiti Malaysia Sarawak (UNIMAS) visited Istanbul Medipol University to strengthen academic and institutional ties. The visit marked a significant milestone as both universities signed an agreement aimed at fostering collaborative efforts in education and research.
The delegation, led by UNIMAS Deputy Vice Chancellor Professor Ir Ts Dr Al Khalid Othman, included Mdm Dayang Nor Hajijah Awang Daud, Director of the Division of Endowment and Waqf, Mdm Rafidah Badar, Chief Assistant Administrative Officer of the Division of Endowment and Waqf, and five students.
During the visit, the guests were given a comprehensive tour of Istanbul Medipol University’s South and North Campuses. They also had the opportunity to meet with Prof. Dr. Hüseyin Arslan, Dean of the Faculty of Engineering and Natural Sciences, to discuss the next steps in the implementation of the signed agreement.
This visit signifies the beginning of a promising collaboration between Istanbul Medipol University and Universiti Malaysia Sarawak with plans to further academic cooperation and exchange opportunities for both students and faculty.
