On August 26, 2024, a group of five medical students from the University of Medicine and Pharmacy Carol Davila in Bucharest, Romania, visited Istanbul Medipol University. The visit was organized under the EMSA Twinning Project, aimed at fostering medical education and cultural exchange between European medical schools.
The students were hosted by the EMSA Medipol European Integration and Culture Pillar Team, who guided them through a comprehensive tour of Medipol’s South Campus. The visit provided an opportunity for the Romanian students to explore the facilities and exchange knowledge with their Turkish counterparts. The focus of the visit was to enhance their medical education experience and broaden their understanding of different healthcare systems and practices.
This collaboration highlights the importance of international partnerships in advancing medical education and creating a global community of future healthcare professionals.
