On December 6, 2024, a delegation from Millat Umidi University visited Istanbul Medipol University. The visiting group included the following notable representatives:
• Khurshid Mamatov, Rector’s Advisor,
• Associate Professor Ishmanova Dinora, PhD,
• Murad Ismailov, Teacher and Dean of the Faculty of English Language Teaching,
• Shavkat Makhmudov, Head of Spirituality and Enlightenment, Youth Department.
The academic group also brought 12 students from different departments to demonstrate partner university and student collaboration perspectives. Students visited university labs, classrooms, took part in the conference, and visited recreation zones for students.
During the visit, the academic part of delegation was engaged in productive discussions with Prof. Dr. Gökhan Silahtaroğlu, the Dean of the Faculty of Business and Management Sciences, and Assoc. Prof. Elif Baykal. The meeting focused on potential areas of collaboration and strengthening academic ties between the two institutions.
Following the discussions, the delegation was given a guided tour of Istanbul Medipol University’s campus. The visitors had the opportunity to explore the university’s state-of-the-art facilities, gaining insight into its educational and research environment.
The delegation expressed their appreciation for the warm hospitality extended by Istanbul Medipol University and commended the campus's advanced infrastructure. This visit marked a significant step in fostering closer ties between the two universities, paving the way for future collaborations.
