Yanka Kupala State University of Grodno is a major regional university complex in Belarus integrating all education levels with 15 faculties, 73 departments, and 4 colleges. Currently, there are 14.499 undergraduate and 457 graduate students receiving education in the institution. It is a big-scale scientific center of the region, a classical type of university acknowledged by the international community.
The University provides study programs along a long list of specialties at two stages of higher education, 1st stage as Bachelor’s degree programs, including Physico-Technical Faculty, Faculty of Innovative Mechanic Engineering, Faculty of Construction and Engineering, Faculty of Mathematics and Informatics, Faculty of Biology and Ecology, Faculty of History, Communication and Tourism, Faculty of Philology, Faculty of Pedagogy, Faculty of Psychology, Faculty of Law, Faculty of Economics and Management, Faculty of Physical Education, and Faculty of Arts and Design. 2nd stage is the Master’s degree programs, and they include all the faculties that previously stated above.
Besides all the academic success the achieve, Yanka Kupala State University of Grodno actively cooperates with universities and organizations of neighboring and far-abroad countries, such as Russia, Poland, Lithuania, Ukraine, China, Kazakhstan, Armenia, Uzbekistan, Austria, Germany, Finland, Bulgaria, Belgium, Italy, Spain, Norway, Latvia, Moldova, Tajikistan, Kyrgyzstan, Azerbaijan, Portugal, Turkey, Romania, Hungary, Serbia, Mexico, Sri Lanka, Mongolia, and India within the framework of more than 170 international cooperation agreements. Staff and students at the university visit foreign universities and organizations to undergo training/internships, share experiences, give lectures, conduct research, and participate in international projects, exhibitions, conferences, seminars, cultural, sporting, and other events within the framework of intergovernmental agreements and international cooperation agreements.
