Erasmus+ gives special importance for guidance, greeting, physical access, pedagogical and technical support, and especially contributing to the additional costs of students and staff whose physical, mental or health-related conditions is such that their participation in Erasmus+ would not be possible without extra financial support.
This is to provide you to take the full advantage of European Union Erasmus + mobility programs.
All higher education institutions undertake to provide equal access and opportunities to participants from all circles by signing the Higher Education Erasmus University Declaration. Therefore, students and staff with physical, mental or health-related conditions may benefit from all support services provided by the host institution to their local students and staff.
You can apply for Erasmus + additional grant for the students and staff with physical, mental or health-related conditions in addition to the monthly Erasmus + education, internship or staff mobility grant for your special access needs during your mobility. In order to apply for Erasmus + special needs support, please state your special needs and additional costs foreseen regarding your physical, mental or health-related situation while preparing for your Erasmus + mobility period.
Erasmus+ support includes affordable accommodation, travel assistance, medical attendance, support equipment, appropriate learning materials, companion, etc. The support is not limited to the services listed above.
